With a stunning aubergine, orange and gold floral design in a luxurious silk blend material, they are perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in any room of the house. These curtains are a true masterpiece, designed and handmade by Clement Jocelyn in Hitchin, United Kingdom. Silk Damask fabric in Brown/Bronze/Gold Colourway. Each curtain of the pair measures 82 cm wide on top gathered already / 179 cm width on bottom ungathered drop 268 cm (full width 82 2= 164 cm 268 cm lenght). As a guide, this pair of curtains would fit a pole/track up to 164 cm wide (this is the maximum width of pole/track that this pair of curtains can accommodate as the headers are a fixed width).
Curtains are blanket interlined, and further lined with cotton sateen linings, making them quite thick (two separate layers of linings). Very expensive main fabric, more than 30 m of fabric in this pair. Weighted hems for better drape.The curtains are very heavy and will require robust wall fixings/pole to hang up. Tieback shown in photos is not included. This is a truly stunning pair of curtains that would make a statement in any setting. The main fabric is in great condition.
Linings are mostly clean with very minor scuffs and faint marks. The curtains have not been cleaned after taking down and are in reasonably good condition to be used as they are. Please note that they have been priced taking into account the overall condition. Curtain sizes accurate to +/-1. Colours represented by photos as well as description.Silk and linen fabrics may have natural imperfections from the manufacturing process. I have 2 pair of these lovely curtains if you interested. The measurements of second pair are: width 205 cm (top-fixed already) 250 cm drop.
